International Chapter of the Junior Society
Sunday, April 15th, 2007

So, Robert Mahar (of Mahar Drygoods fame) just started a new blog dedicated to really cool stuff for kids. You see, Robert is always on the lookout for cool stuff for his store, but sometimes the items just don’t fit. So, he’s compiling them on Junior Society.
Now, I know that there are tons of sites […]

5 Facts about the Monster World (Monstrus)
Monday, March 19th, 2007

It’s come to my attention that most non-monster folk don’t know much of anything about the world that I (and monster folk) come from… often called the “Monster World” or “Monstrus” by us.
Basically, monsters are found all around the “normal” human world, but most humans are just unable to notice them. They have jobs, eat […]

Illustration Friday - Super Hero
Friday, January 19th, 2007

I realized that my character KlawBerry is a super hero, about halfway through the writing process after she started to kick a little butt.
No, she’s not your typical super hero, that’s for certain, but she does dress in black and she’s got some extraordinary powers, so what-the-heck? She’s a “monster-girl super hero” as much as […]

Bad World
Sunday, January 7th, 2007

Though there are cool things in the Monstero World, sometimes it is a dark and dangerous place. It is occupied by lots of creatures, but they’re not always what they seem. Sometimes the cutest little creature is deadly; and the horrible monster could turn into a great friend.
Here are some photos taken by KlawBerry, of […]

Good Girl
Sunday, January 7th, 2007

KlawBerry is a good spirit, born of the sea. She’s a monster girl with sharp little claws, and a pair of horns that look a lot like hair. She’s good, but not “too” good. She can hold her own.

About
Tuesday, December 12th, 2006

KlawBerry is a little monster girl, with little black claws, big horns, and a single green eye. She’s cute, and she’s also a spirit of goodness. “KlawBerry” is also the name of a modern folktale by me (Daniel M. Davis), in the form of a book.
